West Coast Self Storage 2019
In the summer 2019 our team was brought in to do all of the sitework for the new West Coast Self Storage building in Tacoma WA. To complete the project our team had to install sewer, water, and storm, as well as overcome multiple shoring and sloping issues, moving over 6,500 CY of material, of which 3,000 CY of the material was exported. Are team was able to do the bulk of the export in just one day loading 119 truckloads.
Asadero Steakhouse 2019
In the spring of 2019 our team was selected to come in and excavate one of Tacoma's historical building to provide access and support for waterproofing the 100 year old foundation, which was severely leaking, and install a 1,500 gallon grease interceptor with a new side sewer for the new restaurant. This project presented particular challenges including an engineered shoring plan to shore the existing 16' high retaining wall, small work area with limited access, and contaminated soils. Are team was able to find solutions for all the problems presented and complete the project without any punch-list items.
